About
Welcome to FitnessFully. My name is Jessica, and I am very
passionate about fitness and nutrition. I am no personal trainer, I've
simply created this blog as way of tracking my own journey, as well as
help others with theirs.
A little about me...
I am a 30-year-old school teacher. I've been an avid exerciser for the majority of my adult life. Over the years, I've increased my knowledge of exercise through trial-and-error, advice from fitness gurus and trainers, and my own research. I've recently become more interested in nutrition, which, up until a year ago, was pretty bad.
One of the biggest misconceptions of working out is if you exercise, you can eat whatever you want. I was a firm believer of this. I used to eat a lot of fast food, sugar, carb-heavy meals, and take-out. I would justify this by going to the gym and hitting the treadmill for an hour. While I never had a weight problem, I did have a small amount of excess fat around my thighs and belly area.
I would do a bunch of crunches, but to no avail. Cutting fast food out and reducing sugary crabs is what helped me to achieve a stomach that is more toned.
I am excited to be starting this blog as I continue my journey to a healthy lifestyle. I hope that people find the information on this blog useful.
Strong is beautiful.
